Dr. Meline Kevorkian serves as Associate Provost, Interim Dean at the College of Engineering and Computing, and Professor of Education at NSU. Her primary research interests are in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math student success, bullying prevention, school safety and academic quality. Meline’s work and collaborations have led to many papers, presentations, and grants from the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Education around efforts to broaden access to high-need Computer Science and Engineering degrees for Hispanic/Latinos and Low-Income Students. Meline is the author of many books including, Tackling Bullying in Athletics, 101 Facts about Bullying: What Everyone Should Know, Preventing Bullying: Helping Kids Form Positive Relationships and Six Secrets for Parents to Help Their Kids Achieve in School. Meline presents regularly on best practices in bullying prevention, cyberbullying, as well as, numerous topics facing educators, parents and students in today's schools. Her experience includes teaching and administrative positions in both public and private schools from preschool through the University level. She has been featured on the TODAY show, CNN, FOX, NBC, CBS, WSVN, Mom Talk Radio, WLRN Public Television, and the National PTA.
